They are so beautiful. Was a perfect gift for my friend. They are well packaged, the box is sturdy and gorgeous and it came with a card that you can write a note on, which made the process of gifting it soooo much easier. They did have a "processed" smell to them, that I assume was probably the glue, but it was a very faint smell, and you have to basically put your nose to the flowers to smell it. They are bright and vibrant. Soft and velvety. I absolutely love them.
